Dr. Andrew Mock Selected for Oklahoma Magazine's 40 Under 40 List

We are pleased to announce that HP Engineering Vice President and Regional Engineering Director Dr. Andrew Mock, PhD., PE, SE, has been selected as an Oklahoma Magazine 2023 "40 Under 40" honoree. Each year, Oklahoma Magazine showcases the best movers and shakers the state has to offer in all fields of business that have the common goal of improving Oklahoma.

Andrew is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and the University of Illinois with a PhD and Master of Science in Civil Engineering. He was a National Science Foundation Graduate Worldwide Fellow and received Oklahoma State University's Dean's Award for Outstanding Graduate from the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology.


Andrew has been instrumental at HP Engineering in creating the new structural division. Based on his projects' success, he has doubled his team size and taken on many high-profile structural projects across the United States. His professional experience has included commercial, education, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, infrastructure, mixed-use & multi-family sectors. Through these experiences, Andrew provides technical leadership in the analysis, design & construction of commercial steel structures, reinforced masonry, structural concrete, cold-formed metal framing & wood.


Andrew has also led operations for the Oklahoma City office outside of his structural engineering duties. He has been responsible for business development, employee morale, and company culture.

Andrew has earned a reputation as a confident and calm leader. He brings a unique perspective to the AEC industry and is frequently sought out for his knowledge through his involvement with the American Society of Civil Engineers. Andrew is an active member of ASCE's Committee for Preparing the Future Civil Engineer.


Andrew is a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. Andrew was recently accepted into the 2023 Leadership Native Oklahoma program through the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma.
